Bees Across New Britain
6' Fiberglass Bees to be fancifully painted by artists, displayed in Central Park and
located around the City as part of Mayor Erin Stewart's "Experience the New" campaign.
Schedule
Tuesday, May 12, 2019, 11 a.m.: Most of the fully dressed Bees will be unveiled in Central Park in front of City Hall
The remaining bees will appear in the Park as they are completed by the artists
Late June, 2019: Bees Across New Britain Celebration with the auctioning of four of the creatures. After the celebration, the remaining Bees will make their way to sponsor locations throughout the City where they will remain on display.
