Please know that artists do their best work when they are inspired by something and given the freedom to express this.
While to give explicit instructions can be tempting, it will thwart the artists’ unique vision and creativity. The plan is for artists
to exceed, not simply meet, sponsor expectations.

In the fall, sponsors will be notified of the artists selected by the Bees Across New Britain Committee to paint
their bees. At that time, sponsors can communicate with artists any ideas they might have for their bees, keeping
in mind that we want the artists to have the freedom to surprise us with their creativity. The GNBAA will make every
effort to ensure sponsors are delighted with their finished bees. However, refunds may not be possible if a sponsor
is unhappy with a finished bee.
