New Britain Industrial Museum Gets Donation from the New Britain High School Reunion Committee Class of 1952

The New Britain High School class of 1952 celebrated their 60th class reunion in September 2012. Three years have passed since that celebration and, with no plans for future reunions, the question arose of what to do with the remaining reunion funds.  Members of the class wanted to do something for the betterment of New Britain so it was decided to donate the remaining funds to the New Britain Industrial Museum in honor of the Class of 1952. Class representatives Bill & Marge Wisk and Jeanine Martino presented the New Britain Industrial Museum with a check in the amount of $575 to support the Museum’s mission of increasing pride in the community and inspiring the next generation. The class of 1952 is hoping that other Reunion classes will follow suit and donate their residual reunion funds to the New Britain Industrial Museum so that the history of the Hardware City of the World can continue to be preserved for, and shared with, future generations.
